83-44...all but Jake O (who is injured) scored...offense very spread out. 15 fouls by the Syc's in the 2nd half will not cut it...read below though as to the reason why they fouled too much...probably pressing to do too much. Myles Walker, the new beefy center, fouled out in 8 minutes of play.

Here's what I put over on the Sycamore board after listening to Lansing after game...

Lansing said there's a glimpse of a really good team...got greedy...reaching too much fouling too much...lot of work to do on D end. Pleased w/ offensive aspect though...still needs fine tuning...likes playing fast. Not happy w/ them getting 13 extra shots. Jake O not healthy yet...tomorrow off.

We are going to be a good team, but you can't really measure anything off this win, as Rose-Hulman was absolutely terrible. It is a good game just because both teams are in Terre Haute.

Sounds like a report of a scrimmage with a Jr. High team ...

At least you guys beat the D3 team you played. Unfortunately we can't say the same.

Say what you want about who cares who wins in an exhibition game. Losing an exhibition game or two didn't didn't help Royce Waltman's cause when he was being evaluated before not getting his contract renewed and it won't help the "New Marty" when his time is up. He is not a new coach at Evansville anymore. What is the problem down there in the river city?
