A Serious Goodbye and thank you to WSU and SIU

now that the move is all but totally official just gotta say goodbye to WSU fans and SIU fans. I mean no disrespect to any other team in the Valley, but the rivalries (i don't really care if you want to argue semantics on what that word means) between SIU circa early 2000s and WSU as of late is what has made CU basketball so fun to watch. The korver days. Funk and tolliver vs. Tatum and Faulkner. WSU and Creighton battling one and two the last two years. Those are the great things i will remember. What fun would it be if we didn't "hate" each other? At the very least, that means we respect each other. Lastly, I firmly believe CU would not be in this position if it were not for those high quality rivalries. I will sincerely miss those times, and will always root for valley teams in the future, especially SIU and WSU.
