There is no easy answer other than there is no date or time for release of schedules.

The real answer is that it can happen literally any time from May until late September-literally weeks from the start of the practice.

There are too many variables. Some schools might have nearly all their games tied up in contracts, and once dates and tourneys are set in stone they might announce early.

The last couple years Texas Tech has been among the first nationally announcing almost immediately after the season.

A few years ago Charlotte was the first in mid-July.

This year, many have started to trickle out in the past few weeks as conferences have finalized their slates. But I have seen a number with TBA tournaments and open dates.

Typically late July thru mid-August is the busiest time (they especially flood as conference schedules are announced), but it's becoming more common for schools to not announce until September.

There are numerous reasons for this as well (teams sitting on contracts as they continue to shop for better games, tourney planning has become more chaotic and can change without notice, etc)

What is known for Bradley so far:

Nov. 30 @ WCU
Dec. 4 vs. Utah
Dec. 8 @ Duke
Dec. 20 vs. Jackson State

Known opponent (date TBA): vs. NIU

BU is supposed to play in the Hall of Fame Classic in Springfield, MA. It has been announced that BU would play USC in the first game at Springfield following two prelims and then face UMass/NMSU. However as details have leaked, and especially following TCU's sked announcement today the format may be a 3-day 3 game affair instead of 2 campus/2 neutral.

I'll have to try and find dates for WSU's games. Not too much info out there yet of course. I know we play:

**@ Maui Invitational (Kentucky, UConn, Michigan St, Oklahoma, Washington, Virginia, WSU & Chaminade)
Neutral Site vs LSU (Dec. 18th is what I hear)
@ San Diego St (part of the MVC/MWC challenge on Dec. 4th)
vs UMKC
vs Tulsa

I know the Shox are still looking for more games. Someone rumored that there MAY be a deal to get a SEC opponent in Wichita this year. We'll see if that happens. I'm not expecting much as it will be hard to get anyone to play the Shox in Wichita this year. I'm also sure I'm still missing a couple games that I have forgot about.

** As for the Maui opponent....the bracket is going to be announced between 1:30pm - 2:00pm (EST) on ESPNNews on 8/5/10. So we'll know alot more about who the Shox will face this time tomorrow.

On the bright side, we should win most of our non-con games (I hope). UNLV is running into a bunch of problems so they may be weaker than we once thought.

Wichita State will face UCONN in the first game of the Maui Invitational. Winner will likely play Michigan State. Full bracket here: http://www.mauiinvitational.com/assets/ ... racket.pdf

This is a great opportunity for the MVC to get some high profile exposure and wins that could help in March.
