Never too early to start thinking about March.

Wichita State as a 7 seed.
Creighton as a 12 seed playing a play in game against Okie State.

Preseason picks from Jerry Palm and Gary Parish:

GP -- WSU 9 Seed, MSU 13 Seed
JP -- WSU 6 Seed, MSU 11 Seed

Have CU and UNI on the fence.

It doesn't matter who it is but the MVC needs to get more than one bid.

And that will more or less be decided by what happens the next 6 weeks.

Or the regular season champ losing in St. Louis.

Hopefully the 1 seed doesn't have bad losses on the resume at the end of the year

I have not paid attention, so can someone enlighten me? With the expansion to 68 teams, I assumed there would be a 16 and 17 seed in each region who would play each other as the play in games. The bracket suggests that there will be two play-in games involving the four lowest ranked automatic qualifies and then two play-in games involving the four lowest ranked at large bids. Is that correct? Has the NCAA given an explanation why they would do it that way?

I think it makes sense, in theory at least, to have the last at large selections playing each other to get into the 64 team field.
