yeah opportunity lost, but in college bball the home team wins 75% of the time or someting close to that.

MVC needs wins period. It will likely be up to WSU to make an at large case, finish 1st or 2nd in the MVC, and then it will be up to someone else to upset them in St Louis.

MSUDUO

You can't always make the shots go in, but IMO the Bears never stopped battling and still had a shot to win it. Fouled too much and shot 35%. You outrebounded them. Definitely didnt roll over like a few other unnamed MVC squads.

disappointing loss... instead of getting a quality win and and heading to NYC we come home and play likely poor mid majors in our house... Tough one to swallow

SPRINGFIELD -- Missouri State will host a four-team consolation bracket in the Dick’s Sporting Goods NIT Season Tip-Off Monday (Nov. 22) and Tuesday (Nov. 23) at JQH Arena in Springfield.

The Bears play Pepperdine at 7:05 p.m. Monday evening. That game is preceded by Arkansas State and Pacific at 4:30 p.m.

The winners and losers of Monday’s games will play each Tuesday. Missouri State will play the 7:05 p.m. contest regardless of Monday’s outcome, and will once again be preceded by a 4:30 matchup.

What's interesting is that Arkansas State and Missouri State could meet for the second time in a week. More interesting, is that the teams would then actually play each other three times this year as they are scheduled to play again on Dec 22 in Springfield.

Nope, this is a news-leader error. We will play Pepperdine Monday and Pacific on Tuesday (regardless of who wins Monday)

Thanks for the correction. That is certainly a better arrangement for the fans.

yeah should be some good games. Pepperdine isn't overly good (although they do play in the WCC), but Pacific will likely win their conference.

Pepperdine is in the WCC but Pacific is in the Northwest I believe. Gonzaga should be the fav in the WCC

Pacific is in the Big West Conference.

And, I think you misunderstood the post you quoted.
