Though MSU was done when they were down 15. 8 mins left and they've at least made it a game. Down 5.

Seems like Ricks kind of becomes a ball hog when the game is on the line late. I admit I haven't watched much of Missouri St, but it seemed that way towords the end of the Tennessee game also. He tries too much sometimes

Really that can be said about a few players on Missouri St. Seems like alot of 1 on 1.

Another tough loss. MVC needs to catch a couple of breaks as nothing seems to be working our way thus far.

No more worrying about at-large bids for MSU now, because that's pretty much done. Terrible loss in part due to a terrible schedule. There's no excuse for scheduling this game so close to the NIT games. At least this takes all of the pressure off of the team until the conference schedule starts. TERRIBLE schedule.

Tulsa 62
Mo State 50
FINAL

Mallett 12 points 7 boards

Leonard 11 points

Creekmore 10 points 4 boards

Weems was 2 for 14 from the field and 0-4 from trey (you won't see many nights like this from him, heck I would be shocked if you ever saw this again from him). He did have 10 boards to go with his 6 points.

Are you serious? They have 2 losses and played the hardest part of their schedule already? They play OK state in non conference and then a bunch of other cupcakes.. I agree it's a bad loss, but with 2 losses I think it's a little early to call it a season.

I can't go with this being the end of MSU's chances for an at large, but 2 great opportunities to build their resume have resulted in 2 losses.

I'm aware that the Shox have done nothing on the court to demonstrate anything, but every other team has done something to demonstrate some weakness.

It's starting to look like the Shox need something like a 16-2 season in the Valley and then lose in St. Louis for the Valley to get more than one bid.

It's still really early, but so far the best showing by an Valley team is MSU's LOSS to Tennessee at Tennessee. We've got Valley teams losing home buy games against cupcakes.

I'm afraid the Valley's conference RPI is going to have the "teen" syllable somewhere in the ranking.
