Drake roster changes
Posted: April 1st, 2014, 10:52 amTwo players have left Drake in the last two days....6'9" sophomore Robert Puleikis and 6'6 sophomore Daddy Ugbede.
Puleikis played a total of 23 minutes in two seasons.
Ugbede averaged 3.7 ppg and 2.2 rpg. Daddy had some talent, but he was essentially a 6'6" center with no perimeter skills. He also seemed to have trouble grasping either the offense or defense.
This leaves Drake with no juniors for next season, so I won't be surprised if Giacoletti picks up a juco or two. One of these scholarships will go to Gary Ricks, who was a senior, but missed most of the season with a broken foot, and was redshirted.
Only 3 Phelps players left, and they'll all be seniors next season.
