There are no return games in the MVC-MWC challenge. Match-ups are decided each year.

What's the story behind Jimmer being named Jimmer. I'm sure it was told during the NCAA tourney last year but I forgot.

As far as the MVC-MWC, there are still a couple of decent basketball teams even with the moves that will happen. I hope it will continue.

I hope so. Even with BYU, Utah and TCU leaving, UNLV, New Mexico and SDSU are still very good. Nevada has been pretty decent recently as well and, as a replacement school, is certainly better than TCU (and possibly Utah) that are departing. Considering the difficulties MVC schools have with scheduling, I'd certainly hope we can continue it.

MWC is still in far better shape than the WAC. Even with the moves its a pretty respectable conference.

Gonna be a big crowd. They have the temporary seats set up on the north end and there are a lot of students here. Great atmosphere.

Jays starting where they left off at Northwestern. Can't buy a bucket, the horrible shooting continues (0-7 from 3), BYU up 12 w/4 min. the half. Hopefully we can get it under single digits.

Jays down six. Not sure how they cut the lead. Seems like we are new to offense.

34-28 BYU at half. Lead was as high as 12. Jimmer w/only 5 points. Not bad considering Jays are like 1-11 from 3 point range. Hopefully we can make it a game in the second half.
