Unless this has changed this year, you are completely wrong. Each game earns a share, including play-in games.

For example, see: http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nc ... s/6534223/

Please present proof of your claim.

Angry is right, but I think Angry's response is a little harsh to Aargh.

Of course, there may be some history of which I am not aware.

I apologize for my use of the word "completely."

Very nice win. Nurger came up big.

Question though. What happened to Bush? Is he injured or has he just fallen off Marshall's depth chart?

Let me see if I can find where I read it. The same source said that a play-in game is not considered to be a part of the NCAA tourney by the NCAA. It's a play-in game to see if a team should be included in the NCAA tourney.

Now that I'm digging for confirmation for the article I read, it seems that article was in error.

Bush was suspended for a couple of games around finals for violating team rules and at about the same time he started having significant back issues. Coach was none to pleased, but the suspension was lifted at the beginning of MVC play. Bush never really got much court time after that.

Play in games receive a full NCAA share. Otherwise, two of the automatic qualifier leagues wouldn't receive a distribution because their teams wouldn't advance.

Right. They are not "play-in" games...at least in NCAA parlance. They were first round games, but that caused too much confusion for people, so now it's simply the "First Four"

WSU is glad to do their part to support the welfare schools of the MVC. Just continue to be good practice schools for WSU and help prepare them each year for performing on the national stage.

I believe that after this year, Indiana State's 1 share falls off and literally every tournament unit will have come from UNI, Wichita, and Creighton.

Nice job everybody else, nice job. Creighton hasn't been in the league for 3 years and they are contributing more financially than you are.
