Evansville department-wide scheduling philosophy?

The UE baseball coach asked WSU coach Butler "are you crazy?" for scheduling so tough during the non-con. Is Marty doing the scheduling for the whole department or is the AD driving this philosophy? Now, given his record, maybe Butler is crazy but give he won't go down without at least trying.

Poor little UE and their soft schedule can in no way compete with WSU in baseball or any sport. News Flash UE run ruled WSU today to win the weekend baseball series.

What WSU needs this year is to get Stephenson back with his "headhunting" warm up pitchers. Otherwise they are a pretty bad team.

That incident was a long time ago but will never be forgotten by me.

For those of you too young to remember the event or you have simply forgotten about it over time here is the story from two neutral sources.

Too make the whole situation worse is that Christensen never made it to the majors and Molina never returned to the level of play that he was capable of before and has since gotten into serious legal problems for sexual crimes. Simply Wow - 1 young man had the chance to be a big league star and the other likely would have at least had a minor league career with a shot at a lesser MLB career. Now both live with guilt for different reasons.

I was hoping WSU baseball would "Evansville" the hell out of the Valley in the conference season. Looks like they aren't even good enough for that. Program has fallen a long ways and the actual attendance is sad. Haven't been to a game and won't support the program currently under Butler with my money, but I do watch some games on ESPN3.

And since you had hoped to "Evansville" the hell out of the MVC I wish all the other schools in the Valley had a Koch to match the spending of WSU.

I wish Shox fans would stop creating threads just to troll every other school.
