VanVleet gets a multi-year "partially guaranteed" contract with the Raptors and an invite to their training camp. Possibly a 15th man on the roster or possibly assigned to D-League.

No details on the terms. He won't be getting NBA dollars unless he sticks on the Raptors roster, but he's probably getting enough to keep him in the USA instead of Euro ball.

Wes signs with MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in Germany.

Tekele Cotton is listed as being on their roster as well.

They appear to be one of the better teams in Germany. Finished 5th in the German top league. A head of the team that featured Seth Tuttle last season.

The Knicks declined to give a qualifying contract offer to Cleanthony Early.
That means he'll be an unrestricted free agent, but the Knicks should be able to keep him on a low-cost deal should New York have interest. Jun 30 - 4:28 PM

He'll have to cut back on the "gold chains and strippers".

Mock has played pretty well in 2 summer league games for the Nets.

8.5 pts, 5 rebounds , 1 block, and 1 assist per game

He's played very good defense and has shown quickness getting up and down the floor.

He's a player. He's going to make a lot more money in the next 10 years than I.

I hope some of their games are available online. I'd really enjoy watching Wes and Cotton the same team. That's a lot of athleticism between those 2.

VanVleet got a multi-year contract with the Raptors.

http://www.nba.com/raptors/press-releases/vanvleet-071816

Just speculation on my part, but due to the fact that the Raptors already have 3 PG's on their roster, I'm guessing Fred will be one of the 2 players on their 15-person roster who plays in the Developmental League.

In Fred's last Summer League game, the only person the T'Wolves had on their team who could slow Fred down was Toure Murry.

Edit: While this comes from the Raptors NBA website and it is a current article after the Summer League ended, it might be a late article on the previously-announced "partially guaranteed" deal.

False alarm on VanV;eet's deal. The press release was about the fact he actually signed the contract that was reported earlier and that he was working under in the Summer League.

the "guaranteed" portion of the contract is $50,000 and an invite to the Raptors training camp.

So, there's no actually anything new with the Raptors' July 18 press release. Just that now there's ink on the contract.
