Posted: October 26th, 2016, 3:45 pmWell this isn't pretty for the Redbirds - I can only speak from my own perspective but I would hope they would be suspended for the season and their scholarship removed. If they met all fines and probations assigned by the courts I would allow them back on the team next season on their own nickel.

I remember when car dealers used to put searchlights in their parking lots so you could easily find them even if it was dark. That's how easy it is to find a stolen iPhone. Stealing something with gps tracking built into it is not a good idea.

Side question - didn't Frankamp get a DUI recently? Was he suspended?
Also, they stole the iPhone a month ago....why activate it now? So dumb.

If by recently, you mean in the last 2 years. His DUI was in January 2015 and it cost him a scholarship for a year. It didn't cost him any games because he was already sitting out as a transfer.

So it's okay that they stole it but it's the owners fault for taking two months to find it?
