Jeremy Morgan was my pick. He's never been as good as I think he should be but maybe this will be the year.

Morgan plays within Jake's system. Jake's system will almost never allow a person to average 18 points per game.

J-Mo does so much stuff that's off the stat sheet, which is why he's undervalued by many. My father-in-law though along the same lines until we re-watched a few games together and he focused almost solely on J-Mo. He may not win the POY, but he's good enough too.

There were really only two rules:

1. Pick somebody off the preseason All-Conference teams.
2. Pick someone not on your team.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, but the election committee has ruled, and your vote will not count.

I'm ok with that!

Curious to see peoples updates so far through the season. Way too early and based on super light research but as of now i got:

1. Jeremy Morgan- 16.4 pts (shooting 44.4%), 6.8 boards, 2.6 assists, 2.6 blocks, 3.8 steals
2. Milton Doyle- 14.6 pts (shooting 52.2%), 4.7 boards, 5.3 assists 1.0 steal
3. Deonte Hawkins- 16.8 (shooting 50%), 8 boards, 1.5 assists, 1.5 steals
4. Brenton Scott- 20.2 pts(shooting 43.6%), 5 boards, 2.7 assists, 1.8 steals

I put Doyle over Hawkins based on efficiency and being a homer, so could see it either way. Curious to see what others think!

Hard to even put Hawkins in the conversation given what we all know (he should have been suspended these first 4 games).
However, I would consider a different Redbird, who if you discount yesterday's D2 game, is averaging 17 pts, 7.6 boards, 2 steals

MiKyle McIntosh

Honestly I frequently get the two mixed up; I thought McIntosh was the one who got suspended; I'd swap him out on my list then!

Jaylon Brown (UE) did not make the pre-season list but here are his numbers: 19.8 pts, (50.2%) 4.3 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.3 steals. Single game high of 39 pts.

Except the POY will not come from the 9th place team. I don't care what he averages on a horrible team.

^^^^ no argument here, but you can understand the frustration when Reed Timmer
gets on the ballot right?
