He is currently averaging:
18.1 ppg
7.3 rpg
3.2 apg
1.7 bpg
3.0 spg (6th in the country)

So not only should he be POY, but he should absolutely be DPOY up to this point in the season. All of this could change, but right now there is no doubt who the best player in the conference currently is.

Crown him!

But seriously, he's putting up some monster numbers so far this year.

Taylor and Custer are two more quality newcomers. The list is long!

How could I forgot to bring up Custer; since he was redshirted last year he wasn't really new to me. He's made a huge impact to the culture the team seems to have adopted behind him and high school teammate Richardson. He takes a lot of pressure off Doyle in terms of ball handling. Awesome to see such a surprisingly stacked newcomer list for the conference.

Heading into this weekends action MSU's Alize Johnson has 3 straight double/ doubles, 5 on the year. In those last 3 he has averaged 20 ppg, 13 rbs, 58% fg, and 50% 3pt. Like most jucos he still has some up and down to parts of his game, but as impressive as his stats is that he plays really hard and is pretty efficient in how he gets his points with a significant number coming from offensive rebounds. He had 10 in his last game making for a unique triple double, 16 rbs, 10 offensive rebounds, and 20 points.

The most impressive thing about Alize is that he has accomplished this in Lusks "system".

Jeremy Morgan
Paris Lee
Jaylon Brown
Brenton Scott
Audre Jackson
Milton Doyle
Mikyle McIntosh

Good list Wufan but I would replace Hawkins for McIntosh.
