I'd say first team at this point would have to be

McIntosh
Doyle
Lee
McDuffie
Johnson

Second Team

Brown
Timmer
Shamet
Morgan
Timmer

Ingram could sneak on if he goes on another scoring tear, or Scott if ISUb bounces back

I like that you put a guy that doesn't deserve to be on there any times, on there twice. Well played.

LOL Timmer 2x.

How about Deontae Hawkins? He is at least 2nd team.

He's gotta at least be in the conversation. I also could see Morris squeezing back in if he continues playing like he has the last 2 games.

Morris would have to average 20ppg the rest of the season to garner recognition. Willis is more likely to end up on 2nd team than Morris.

Hawkins is clearly at least 2nd team.

I should clarify that I personally wouldn't put Timmer on, it's what i think the conference would do; he was on the preseason list and he's having a very Reed Timmer year plus Drake is better than expected in conference.

This is also why I didn't even mention Hawkins. I'm not so sure they'd put him on a first/second team list this year given his offseason trouble. Still relatively new to the MVC so not sure if those politics come in to play or not.

Timmer's numbers are all down from last season (barely, but still). So for the people who made the argument that he deserves to get on solely because of his numbers (myself included), it's not looking great.

Unless there is a precedent I'm unaware of for leaving someone out for getting a DUI in preseason (or similar legal trouble, then Hawkins will definitely be a 1st or 2nd team all-conference player.

I don't know of any precedent.

I mean, ISU didn't even acknowledge it happened, why would the league?

Oh come on, give ISU credit! He did get suspended for a meaningless exhibition game!
