I believe they were arrested, were they not? And what does not being suspended have to do with anything? If anything, that just shows the lack of discipline going on within the program.

My tone wasn't clear. Despite numerous legal infractions, players within the program are not punished by the police, nor their coach. Based on what I can tell, Muller is pretty much A-okay with players stealing, punching women, and driving on suspended license after drinking, so long as they don't get an in game technical foul. It's hard to imagine what type of trouble one would have to get into in order to be suspended from a meaningful game. I'd imagine, they'd have to physically be behind bars.

As to the freshman, it appears that Miller went after character rather than talent based on their ratings.

This cracked me up. He punished players in the past (Johnny Hill) for in-game technicals, but not any of the above with the law.
Whatever.

Voted for Shamet based on the hype - simply haven't seen these players. Hope the quote on John Hall is true would be nice for the Aces to have a diamond in the rough.

Matt Chastain/Bruno Skokna have been the freshmen who look to make an early impact for Loyola. The buzz is Skokna in particular may end up being LU's most eye opening freshmen.

If we are writing players from our teams ... I'm gonna toss Austin Reaves name into the hat.

I was going to say the same thing. Shamet was a top 100 guy and has had a redshirt year. Reaves is a true Fr out of Newark. That's Newark, Arkansas. He's a small town guy like Baker was.

Reaves missed most of the summer practices recovering from shoulder surgery. He's better, at this stage as a Fr, than VanVleet was. Plays a different style than VanVleet, but he's 6'5" and about as crafty around the rim as VanVleet was.

Reaves has already learned both SG and PG positions. He's starting to show some on-court coaching. He's slick and an insane passer. Might be the starting PG before Valley play even starts.

Starters at WSU don't matter. Bench scored 52 tonight. Starters scored 28.

Bradley PG Darrell Brown is playing 30 minutes a game...with that will come numbers. I'm not saying hes the best freshman in the league but hes averaging 11 points and 3 assists...VERY EARLY.
