And McDuffie was a whale of a talent and a contributor.

Contributors seem to be:

Aaron Cook SIU

Brown, Bar, Kennel & Hodgson all for Bradley with Brown being the best of the group.

Skokna & Satterwhite for Loyola.

Smith and Eaves for Evansville.

Barnes and Kessinger for Indiana State.

Brown, McCloud and Haldeman for UNI.

Reaves for WSU.

Miss anyone?

Shamet is the best player of all of those. Brown may win based solely on production but its not like hes a bad player. If Bradley gets out of Thursday and Brown averages 11-12 ppg like he is I could see him winning it.

I don't see Skokna or Satterwhite making the Freshmen team thus far. They both do nice things and look like they belong; but aren't carrying a big enough load to really warrant consideration at this point. Based on my limited knowledge of other teams I'd probably guess Reaves, Shamet, Brown, are locks with Bar and (based on recent performances) McCloud filling it out?

One more wildcard that might start to see more playing time (already has) is Keyser for WSU. Doubt he will get it together enough this year due to playing time (and being behind due to injury), but he probably has a higher ceiling than any other freshman not named Shamet.

Keyser is an athletic freak with some skills. He will probably be a good player for the Shockers someday, but he won't sniff All-Frowh team. Reaves is borderline. If he continues to shoot greater than 50% from 3 on 2+ attempts per game, then yeah, he probably makes it, but he could easily go into a 7 game slump towards the end of the year and get edged out by someone else.

If I were buying freshmen stock I would be buying Shamet and Koch Bar.

I'd buy into Brown and Kennel too.

I haven't watched more than like 5 min of Bradley basketball this year. What happened to Luuk Van Bree and Ronnie Suggs? Thought they were Bradley's two best guys last year and now I hear nothing about them.
