That's a record for the Shockers in the shot-clock era.

Aces win! Bowling Green nearly tied it at the end with a 3, it was all the way down, then came back out. Whew!

We have lost two one possession games this year. It was time to win one.

Is it continuing? Regardless, good for Butler to play a game in Terre Haute and not letting the foolish notion of playing in the Big East think they're better than that. Interested in the line on this one. My guess would be Butler -6

this happened because many years ago ISU played Butler in a bracket buster game in Indy, so Butler was relegated to return the game to ISU the next year, they wanted to defer that game, so we allowed them to do so if they agreed to a 2 for 1 contract, i.e., 2 games at Indiana State, one game at Butler.

This is the 3rd game of that series, we'll never see Butler on our schedule again, much like IU and Purdue and Notre Dame, once we start winning some games against them they won't play us.

The game is Weds. night, so here's hoping we can end this long time series with a win, it'll be tough though, Butler is dang good.

We UE fans feel for you. ISUb and Butler were UEs 2 instate rivals. Both series started in 1921. UE has played ISUb 162 times and Butler 120. After Butler's back to back final four runs, they dropped the series. This after UE chose Butler over IU to play the inaugural game in the Ford Center in 2013.

Congrats on the victory, but SLU may be one of the worse D-1 teams in the nation--it lowered your RPI and SOS just to beat them

That's true of 80% of the teams WSU plays. Unfortunately, this is one of the game WSU actually scheduled, and that 4-year contract has turned out to be pretty terrible, with SLU getting Crew'd and being just horrible the last 3 seasons.

This will be a real problem for WSU come Selection Sunday if we end up slipping up a couple of times (Which is likely). The vast majority of our schedule ended up worse than previous years. Tulsa (70 RPI Last year), LBSU (84 RPI), SDSU (39 RPI), MSU (12 RPI), LSU (95 RPI) and OU (6 RPI) are all normally better than they are this year. Saint Louis was an NCAA team when we agreed to a 4 year contract with them 4 years ago. The only 2 positives that I weren't expecting are CSU and OSU (possibly on both). So looking at Last years RPI, we expected probably ~7-8 Top 100 RPI teams with maybe 4-5 Top 50. Now we will be lucky to have 3-4 Top 100 games and maybe 1-2 Top 50. I don't see anyone in the valley cracking Top 50 besides WSU, a couple might sneak in at Top 100, but with UNI's recent troubles that will be tough.
