Bradley, and Drake, both win. As of tonight, Aces look like a last place team.

Good win for the Bulldogs good all round scoring. 22-24 at the line for Drake. Good inside play also.
Drake won the rebound war 40-27.

With the win, Drake improves their RPI to 345.

With the loss, Loyola's RPI drops 50 spots to 155.

you said the shocks suck un the paint

I don't think I said the Shox "suck in the paint". I thought I said you were unimpressive in that area.

The games I saw early this year I seem to have missed Willis. I hadn't seen him play much until the last few. He looks great. So obviously I was wrong from an overall post play standpoint.

I don't think I even mentioned Willis? I specifically mentioned Nurger and Shaq. Nurger is a serviceable backup. And Shaq is a bundle of mostly unrealized potential. At least so far.

I don't think saying Loyola got Evansville'd quite gives enough credit to how bad Drake is. Gross.

The Bradley-SIU game was horrible to watch at times but it was a game Bradley had to have.

The Salukis went 2-26 from three. That's awful. Bradley's guards outplayed SIU's guards.

The good news for Bradley is that all three players in double figures were freshmen. PG Darrell Brown outplayed Mike Rodriguez. He had 14 points and four assists on 50% from the floor and three. Center Koch Bar had 10 and 7 and 4 blocks in a tough matchup with Thik Bol. Reserve local guy Nate Kennell was huge with a three at the half buzzer and two more in the second half for 10 points.

Bradley is still a Thursday team but the talent is getting better at a slow pace.

Bulldogs score 100+ two games in a row for the first time since 1979. Almost blew a 20 point lead with less than 5 minutes to go, but a win is a win.

The effect on the league's rpi was disastrous. Used to be almost a dead heat from 9-12. Tonight's results dropped the Valley out of that logjam by a goodly distance. Now #12.

Just cuz some like to post random stats for a random time frame that don't paint any kind of picture at all, I figured I'd just join in...

The last 80 minutes of game action
Drake - 203 points
Evansville - 118

I'll be a bit surprised if we don't get back ahead of the Colonial, but we've certainly lost the battle to finish in the top 10. Look at the overall records those conferences will cross-pollinate with, and our collective records. We're behind and don't have the SoS numbers to catch up.

To put it in NASCAR terms, as a conference, we've lost the draft. The MWC, WCC, A-10, AAC. They left us behind this year.
