This league could be so much better if our schools could keep talent.

Bola and Caroline -SIU
Marcus Marshall - MSU
Reggie Lynch and Nic Moore - ISUr
Oleynak - Drake
The 4* recruit from Bradley a few years back...name?

I'm sure there are many others.

This is a major factor for these schools who are trying to compete with Wichita and UNI over the years. Those two schools keep their talent for 4 years, others do not and have to hit the reset button when they lose their best players.

And Marcus Marshall is Nevada leading scorer showing that Lusk can get talent but doesn't know what to do with it.

I believe the Bradley player you were thinking of was Josh Cunningham.

You're probably thinking of Josh Cunningham, who transferred to Dayton (and unfortunately suffered a season-ending leg injury in his second game this year) after Geno Ford was fired. Top talent isn't usually going to stay after the coach that recruited them gets canned.

WSU dominates the second half and wins 80-66. UNI looks like a Thursday night lock.

Drake wins 88-76 over Evansville. Four players in double digits. Turnovers less than 10, 2 in the second half.

Not surprisingly, the UNI fans seemed to have hibernated from this message board for the winter as well.

Good win Shox.

Drake beats Evansville....that might hibernate those fans as well.

We needed a 3rd guy to help out Brown and Kennel.
If we lose to UNI the fuse may carry to the boom.
5th through 10 wide open.

Last but not least ..... Barry's after COY

Wait, what? Are you saying WSU is out if they finish 18-0 and lose in the finals? 29-4 and the Shocks are out?

Thanks.

There will be a lot less purple on this board for a while.
