You guys just can't grasp how big an anchor Lusk is.
The Illinois State game we just kept making shot clock buzzer beating 3s. No offensive design or defensive scheme. Talent is all we have.

From a numbers standpoint, both ISUr and WSU fans should root for both teams in all matchups where they aren't facing each other.

The weiner measuring contest over my 18-0 is better than your 18-0 is silly and premature.

Barry is a great coach!
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

Thus, it's better for the Valley if ISU is the one running the table.

But I can understand the expected backlash from Shocker fans not wanting that to happen. It's human.

Your logic is backwards

No, it's really not.... If ISU is the only chance the Valley has at an at large bid, the Valley should want them to run the table and lose the tourney final in St. Louis.

To want Wichita to do that, you'd be wanting our 2nd best chance to go up against the P5s for the at larges... That makes little sense.

A conference in our position wants the best computer numbers team to do well. That would be ISU. Not sure how that's backwards thinking.

I did expect the wrath of the Wichita backlash though since our ideal MVC scenario doesn't include the Shockers being #1.

I missed the lose in the championship part of the run the table.

You are correct in that scenario

Salukis win over Bears--SIU won without top, scorer and without Sean O'Brien the last seven minutes (O'Brien fouled out)---maybe Barry IS a pretty good floor coach

Pretty sure "computer numbers" should be revised to "RPI" or else that argument just committed a very messy seppuku.

Yup, the vast majority of "computer numbers" have WSU Top 30. Too bad RPI still matters most it seems
