Didn't expect that result in Witchita until I saw who we were missing. Loyd is the best shut down defensive guard we have and Vincent (who was starting before Hinson found out what Loyd could do) is one of our best all around guards. He went for 20+ a couple times last year when Beane was having an off night. If either of them is done for the year then we will only win one remaining game...home against Evansville.

Edit: Witchita played 16 players 4+ mins (respect to Marshal for not running up the score). SIU used only 8 players and 2 were true freshman who rarely play 5 mins in games...nice win for WSU and nice for their fans who got to see some players that don't normally see game action.

Not that this has anything to do with the crowd, but SIU w/o Fletcher and another starter...under academic review. All Shox in the first half as SIUs depleted bench is in foul trouble.

Fletcher did play in this game. It was Lloyd and Vincent who did not play.
