Loyd is the best shut down defensive guard we have and Vincent (who was starting before Hinson found out what Loyd could do) is one of our best all around guards. He went for 20+ a couple times last year when Beane was having an off night. If either of them is done for the year then we will only win one remaining game...home against Evansville.

Edit: Witchita played 16 players 4+ mins (respect to Marshal for not running up the score). SIU used only 8 players and 2 were true freshman who rarely play 5 mins in games...nice win for WSU and nice for their fans who got to see some players that don't normally see game action.

There is only one t in Wichita.

Marshall has had the score run up against him enough in the past and remember what it felt like.

If Drake beats Northern Iowa Saturday, Sandy needs to hold a presser Monday hiring Rutter.

She needs to hold one now...Ritter is freaking 5-4! If she doesn't sign him, Evansville should!

He should be entering the COY discussion.

That is Lusks design. Miller takes our tough shots and never passes. Just watch our games, they are all that way.

This one requires having a little history both on here and especially reading the UNI board.
Oh so that was sarcasm, got it...
No one on the panther board is talking about an at-large. There was discussion prior to the Iowa and UNC games if we could still be in the hunt since we had such a tough non-conference schedule if wins over those two would have done it. We didn't win so the question is moot. Some fan bases just like getting their underpants all knotted up if there is any suggestion that a team other than theirs that is tournament worthy.

The only discussion currently on the board happens to be if there is any reasonable path to 20 wins (there isn't really-not enough games unless we make a run to the sweet 16). If that is what is being interpreted into being at-large worthy, then people should work on comprehension skills. And even that discussion of 20 wins has been hijacked by our resident Fever/baller/championz/sauce/observer into why we don't recruit inner city kids and 5-star prospects.

Big game for UNI to try and keep momentum going. Evansville has always played us tough as both teams are happy to grind out on defense and run time off on offense. I think the first meeting was the first time in about 3 years that a game was outside of two possessions.

UNI is the only fanbase where you win a home game against Drake and then have double-digit deficits in their next 2 games only to have some major unbalanced officiating save them in an OT victory and a 1-point victory, and then think your team was going to win 20 games with 10 regular season games remaining.
