As defense gets settled, I assume they'll start working more on offense. Still a work in progress.
Juwan was his best yet.

Remember you played us without McIntosh and some guys uncharacteristically missing easy shots (both helps your defense look better). That game could have easily been 20 points, especially considering you caught fire late on 3s to keep it respectable.

I really don't think you have the man power to win Arch this year. Nothing UNI did last night impressed me.

That game was an abomination.

Oddly enough nothing ISUr did last night impressed me either. They play hard on the defensive end, but they aren't far and away the best. I would expect they lose at least 3 MVC games. Still very good, but this ain't no 18-0 team that is for sure.

Also let's give it up for how horrendous Hal Lusk, and Zelton Steed truly are. They were really really bad for both teams.

You take away Jeremy Morgan for 3 weeks and see how you perform on offense! Our defense still brings it every night.

Refs were very poor...the SportsCenter 3 stars video (MVC Facebook page has it up) shows the TERRIBLE charge call at the very end of the video. Worst charge call I have ever seen....ever.

ISU is a tremendous defensive team. I don't know if they'll go 18-0, but I'd be shocked if they lost 3 of their next 7. Even without McIntosh.

I don't know if that was the worst charge call I've ever seen, but it was up there.

That probably was the worst flagrant foul call I've ever seen.

True on the flagrant. They were really bad across the board. Steed shouldn't ref a grade school game, let alone college division 1.

Agree to agree.

I will say one thing about Steed. I generally think he is even. Like, he's completely out-classed by the level and speed of the game, but his terribleness is generally a byproduct of how terrible he is and applies equally.

There are some others that are better D1 officials about whom you cannot say that.

On Jake's postgame show, he said that Lusk couldn't even really tell him why they called it flagrant, just 'something that we felt we should call because the offensive player fell down'.

Foul? Absolutely. Flagrant? No way in hell.
