Alize doesn't have a system designed to get him stats like EU does though. Do you really think his numbers would drop on a better coached team? Everything Alize gets is purely him playing hard. He has good percentages too. He hasn't had to shoot and chase every shot to get the numbers.

I don't believe Jeremy Morgan deserves to be 1st team, but I think he will be.

This is how I think they'll vote, but that I don't totally agree.

Lee (POY, DPOY)
Hawkins
Shamet (FOY)
Johnson (NCOY)
Morgan

McIntosh
Frankamp

I'm not arguing that Alize gets everything from a system. I'm not arguing for/against Alize in my prior post. I was backing up my point that we can't look at just stats in a vacuum by providing a blindingly obvious example.

Wins and losses should matter some. Age shouldn't matter at all.

On that I agree but it is possible to be the most valuable/outstanding/best player and not be on a winner.
It is also possible to be the most valuable/outstanding/best player as a Frosh or without having the best stats.

I don't think Morris and Frankamp get on before McDuffie. One of them might squeeze on along with him.

I still think Jaylon Brown deserves 1st.
Led the league in scoring on a bad team

His team is bad because the entire offense is designed to get him shots... So no. He'd come off the bench at WSU or ISU.

This from a Shocker fan who lives in Springfield.

I sat next to a really nice Bear fan. Before the game started, He said that he thought CF (Conner Frankamp) was our best player. I told him CF was very good but I thought #11 - Shamet -was our best and reminded him that Shamet is only a freshman. A few minutes later that Bears fan delivered the "quote of the day" for me. He leaned over and said "are you telling me we have to see that (Shamet) for 3 more years ?" I said "Yup, unless he gets drafted first"

I agree that Jaylon Brown deserves 1st Team honors. Look at the talent surrounding him and the attention he faces every game in the valley.

Here are his average stats against Illinois St and Wichita St this season:

36.25 minutes
49.1 FG%
46.2 3PT%
85.3 FT%
3.25 Rebounds
3.25 Assists
1.75 turnovers
21.8 points
