Bradley beats Evansville in a wild one in Peoria.

BU up seven early, Aces up four at half. Aces go up 12-13 midway through second, and Bradley wins 84-72. The # of fouls called were ridiculous. 49 total called in the game.

Taylor and Brown carry UE again...22 for Brown and 16 for Taylor.

Bradley freshmen guards were big. Darrell Brown had 22 points, six assists and only two turnovers. Jayden Hodgson had 13 points (all in the second half), 7 boards, 5 assists and no turnovers. 13 pts, 13 rebounds for Bradley.

For any team playing Bradley..look at the turnovers. If BU can keep that respectable they have a chance. If it gets out of control like it often does...game over. Today BU had 20 assists and only 8 turnovers.

UNI snapped the Shockers home court winning streak last year.

Marshall likes to send messages.

Shockers by at least 20. Probably 30+

Yep, back to reality. This was such an unrealistic prediction for this game. Unfathomable.

As for the comment on free throws. WSU shot more and UNI wasn't in a foul to extend situation. It either means the officials were calling it for WSU according to a lot of fan's logic that that is why one team shoots more free throws than the other OR that whole idea that UNI just gets all the calls really is the complete BS it always has been.

Fouls were even at 18 a piece. WSU shot a lot more FTs because they attacked the rim and WSU got called for clocks, charges, over the back, and moving screens. Those aren't shooting fouls. I will say that UNI did very little flopping after the first media timeout. It's as if they gave up on winning.

Your prediction was one of the few that thought UNI was gonna get blown out. But I didn't really take your post seriously honestly, with the snarkiness and tongue-in-cheek tendencies in a lot of them.

Regardless, a lot of people thought UNI was padding up the win count by squeaking by bad teams and argued there was a clear separation between 1st/2nd and 3rd. There was a lot of Panther push-back. And then today happened. That's what I meant by reality.

And please don't think it's just WSU fans who feel the way they do about how UNI schemes. There have been other fanbases that comment on it as well. If you don't believe there's more flailing that goes around when UNI plays than with anybody else in this league, then you're as blind as night.

Why is it so wrong to think or hope your team may win a game or play a competitive game?

It's not wrong. It's just hallucinogenic in certain instances.
