Guaranteed 10+ ill advised shots for MSU by Miller in their first game.

(A) Often were not the ones that got snubbed
(B) Often are not the ones able to put said "snub" to good use.

Agreed, but that's certainly exhibit A for "goramblers"

Perceived slight...whether real or imagined to provide motivation.

These numbers also don't lie:
15-15, 7-11 MVC, 216 RPI

Winners:

Player of the Year - Paris Lee
Newcomer of the Year - Alize Johnson
Freshman of the Year - Landry Shamet
Defensive Player of the year - Paris Lee
6th Man of the Year - Aundre Jackson

I never realized Jackson didn't start.
Paris Lee is not the best defender on his own team. Voters love quantifiable stats like steals.

I agree. I've got Brown/Wills in a virtual tie for DPOY ahead of Lee.

Happy as hell for Paris Lee. As a person, couldn't be a nicer guy and as a player, it has been fun to watch him in the past 4 years. Happy to see a Redbird take that award home for the first time since I believe Rico Hill.

SOS would be one also

But He's still one hell of a player and they are a tough out in ST LOUIS.

What's MSU's record this year with the same players, but swap in Gregg Marshall as their new head coach?
