Better team won. 20 points better with a healthy lineup for ISUR this time.

Illinois State definitely lost their composure in the second half. But WSU is a beast of a basketball team. Hope the selection committee overlooks this game on ILSU'S behalf. Wichita State will not be overlooked in the big dance, and will represent the Valley well!!

Congrats on the win shockers. Man we just couldn't hit any shots, missed layups free throws and threes. Could've kept it close but just didn't have it on the offensive end.

Shockers are final four caliber team without a doubt

I'm not buying this. Yet. 12 months from now....

That was a pretty weird game. No real flow, which is certainly somewhat due to 2 teams that really D it up.

I think we can officially call an end to Redbird fans calling WSU classless. There is a new king on that throne.

Redbirds threw in the towel in Wichita, and once it was obvious they weren't going to win in St. Louis, they just got nasty with the refs and some cheap shot fouls. There's hard fouls to prevent a basket and then there are hard fouls that go beyond preventing a basket.

No doubt they will represent the Valley well, but I would guess that WSU would be more interested in leaving the Valley rather then representing it.
