I think you have a good shot against Kentucky. I think you can play a lot better than you did tonight. Dayton plays tough defense for sure but i think some of your shockers played tight.

As the game was about to start, I told my wife this could be the two best coaches in the country. Both teams played great D, played smart, and battled to the end. Both coaches made adjustments that worked about 2 trips before the other made adjustments. Ugly game for most but a thing of beauty for me.

Congrats Shox, good win! I didn't realize Dayton played that good of Defense, tough fought game. Shame that these two teams had to play each other first round. Screw the committee

Thanks everyone - that was a really hard fought battle. Dayton had a terrific game plan and was tough as nails.

We open as 2 point underdogs for Sunday's rematch against Kentucky, which features KenPom's #4 and #5 ranked teams. I am excited for the chance at revenge.

Neither the Shocks, or Ky, played as well as they can last night. Both will play better in the next game. Should be a hell of a game. The Shocks will have a chance to win if they can hit their 3 pointers.
