Acesfool (3:18am post) and Wufan (4:57am post), you guys are up super early!

As everyone now knows, ISUr fell apart in the 2nd half last night. We were up 18 in the first half and 13 by halftime before missing tons of shots in the second half.

Madison Williams (ISUr Freshman) played 5 minutes in the first half. He had 3 fouls and his +/- was -14 points in those 5 minutes. About as poor as it gets, given his team was winning the actual game by 18 points in the first half. Hard to point at one player, but why play him? Put your foot on the gas pedal and blow those suckers away in the first half...give them zero hope for the 2nd half comeback that happened.

Either way, great season for us with a school record for wins in a year. Hoping Muller is still here next year and so is MiKyle McIntosh (rumors he could become a grad transfer).

As stated above. Play got blown up and unfortunately (fortunately for other reasons) Shamet IS still a Freshman. No TOs left due to having to take one during an inbounds play earlier. It is was it is. We had the ball in the hands of our two best players. The McDuffie shot wasn't a horrible shot, just a really good play (foul) by Monk (i think that is who blocked his shot). If you told me before the play that we had 6'8 McDuffie taking a Shot over 6'3 Monk ... I would have been ok with it.

Ugh. I am no fan of this rule.

Hopefully McIntosh returns.

From what I gathered from the RedBird Forum, its Minnesota again right? Do you guys need to block all incoming calls from that state or something?

I agree though, the MVC in general needs McIntosh back. I really want to see how he does when he's the primary option, he's got insane potential if he can stay focused and not make dumb plays.

Yes Richard Pitino treats us as his mini JuCo apparently (Reggie Lynch and Zach Lofton before he got kicked off the team).

Hopefully he is back. Elijah Clarance will be a stud pg coming in that will hopefully entice him to stay.

Clarance
Evans
Yarbrough (SLU transfer)
McIntosh
Fayne

That's a solid starting line up with Clayton, N'Diaye and others off the bench.

Evans was solid, but is going to need to make a HUGE jump in order to try to fill Lee's shoes. Fayne needs to figure out how to not foul, but he has the talent to be really good.

I don't know anything about your incoming guys. I mean you aren't a UNI fan, but after how highly McCloud was hyped, I'm not expecting much out of incoming people :)

Play was blown up. Shamet was supposed to get the ball to McDuffie, a couple of screens and then ball back to Shamet or Frankamp.

The play was blown up because Kentucky knew they did not have to guard inside the 3 point line and WSU had 2 guys under the basket. It allowed KU to double anyone with the ball outside the 3 point line. The play may have worked against most coaches and teams but Cal played it smart and his team remained disciplined.

Clarance will be the one filling Lee's shoes. According to the staff he is a "game changer who will start from day one." Take that for what it's worth but based on what I have seen he is our Landry Shamet!

If sharpshooter Zach Copeland signs as believed he should start over Evans at the 2. Much more
athletic and better shooting team next year. Defensively will probably not be as good though.

Evans should be a sharp shooting combo pg/sg, but yes Clarance would most likely start. I try to be a bit more level-headed than many UNI fans are about their prospects.

Highlight tape from this season for Clarance - http://www.hudl.com/video/3/6639181/58b ... 3108f49a31

Our current Freshman have a long way to go to contribute at a high level (Andre Washington, Matt Hein and Madison Williams). Two of the three should transfer...

From what I have heard I would be surprised if McIntosh is back at ISU next year.
