MVC targeting Valpo & Murray State to create 11 team league

Yup. Move the 8/9 game to 2:00. 7/10 at 6:00. 6/11 at 8:30.


Everybody goes to StL.

Do you charge the 6-11 and night games as different sessions?

I can't imagine that game having more than a couple hundred people and no one from outside of those schools for an afternoon game in it's own session.

If the rumors on Valpo and Murray State are true I hope they come with some provisions:

Valpo: Upgrade and enlarge the High School gym they play in.

Murray St: Commit to MVFC football

Entire Valley: Reinstate the OOC schedule mandate

UNI finished under .500 last year. Worst team since 2001.
SDSU won the Summit League title and made the NCAA tournament from the Summit. SDSU has been the class of the Summit for a while
UNI beat South Dakota State by 28 - and should have been by over 40 had the bench not emptied when it did.

yea UNI. sdsu started out 2-14 then won 9 of 10 at the end.

ndsu started out 20-8 then faltered at the end.


the stats don't lie. last 5 years NDSU/SDSU been at the top of the MVC RPI wise. (taking out WSU, CU)

But if they were in the MVC having to play Bradley, Drake, and Loyola twice would have lowered their numbers a good deal too.
It isn't that we're afraid of NDSU/SDSU, its we have no interest in ever going there to watch a basketball game and would be better served inviting other, Basketball first, schools.

There are 3 USA Continental states that I have not visited and two of the three are OR and WA and I plan on visiting them in the next few years (maybe even this summer). The other is ND and it isn't on my docket.

FYI, Loyola was 5th in the conference in RPI.
