Huh, 11 is an interesting number to settle on.

I'd be okay with those two. 11 is a bit strange, but okay.

My question with Murray State has been football. They are an OVC member in football as well. Would the OVC "let" them be an affiliate member for football. I would assume they would. They have 9 schools. That creates a perfect round robin set up for a conference champion with 3 OOC games in an 11 game schedule set up.

Seems like this would likely create a 20 game conference slate, which would make scheduling a little easier for the members.

Well, yeah that too.

I know it doesn't carry much weight, but as a UE fan I'd be happy with it. Regional rival with a team we typically play every year in MSU and another similar small private school in Valpo. It would also give the MVC four of the top 10 in the US News best regional universities list.

Yes, they're bus opponents. But at least they're bus opponents with quality programs. I was resigned it was gonna be the usual UIC/UMKC/UWM crap with this league. Best they can do (sans Belmont) out of the bus teams.
