BTW, I don't think any of us can predict what the schools will ultimately vote to do behind closed doors. Programs tend to do what is good for their programs and not so much what is good for everyone else. We have seen that first hand in our dealings with the rest of the OVC.

Remember when Davidson moved from the SoCon to the A-10 and won the regular-season title the first year?

I do believe that both Murray State (and Valpo) will be very competitive in the Valley but will go
through some growing pains at first. This is a tough league to win road games hence the nickname

Of course this originated a long time ago but some still use the moniker. I'm sure you've
heard Mark Adams use it on every MVC GOTW. Thanks for lurking though!

Mark Adams also compared Paris Lee to Lonzo Ball. So. There's that.

Seems Murray State usually plays some Valley teams. Last year they beat Illinois State at Murray, lost in overtime at Southern Illinois, and lost big at Evansville.

And lost the prior year @ ISUr. So the last three road games in the Valley Murray St lost.
That's my point...it is not going to be as easy for Murray or Valpo to win on the road in the Valley
as it has been in the Horizon and OVC!

Last year was also the worst season Murray state has had in 30yrs . we have routinely gone to Evansville and beat them. Routinely win at SIU. I think Murray has a winning record all time vs MVC teams.
