Yes. NDSU has cash, that they sink into football.

The MVC does not sponsor football. You don't fit.

You don't seem to get that y'all are way too far away. It is strictly a $ issue for NDSU. You could ease the burden by taking SDSU too and having a travel partner, but that opens up another can of worms. 1. SDSU is not very appealing 2. It would be an automatic NO from the private schools hoping to keep the public/private balance. S

So true about SDSU. Those 4 NCAA and one NIT appearances in the last 6 years. That six year average RPI of 88... just not appealing. Proof that most MVC fans know little about what happens outside their bubble. Oh, and didn't we bury Illinois State in 2015-16, at your place, by 20+.

Carry on. As of tonight you will likely be replacing WSU with Valpo only. Exciting times.

Lot of painful truth here. Lots of MVC fans both on here, and on the respective team message boards, turning noses up at programs that have had considerably more success than themselves the last 20 years.

Because it's dumb to be wowed by recent success of programs like SDSU and NDSU who throw up their hands and let their coaches walk to MAC schools because they don't want to get into a bidding war, because they'd rather pour their resources into their lower division football teams. That's not a plan for success.

That's true for every fan base in every conference. jacks29 shouldn't be casting stones because he is a poster child for that. Difference is, you don't see MVC fans insecure enough to the point they keep running to another conference's board to bash the conference and monitor posts they don't agree with.

And yet, that plan has worked out better for them than for those using other plans you seem to like more.

And yet, a broken clock is right twice a day.

Sure. And I'm not here to advocate for SDSU's MVC inclusion. But if more MVC teams were operating at the broken clock levels you describe, the league would be in good shape.

You can't attempt to deride Valpo, when your coach leaves for Wright State. Literally, Coach Nagy felt that he could do better at Wright State, versus what he had at South Dakota State.
