It's a mix of good, bad, and questions.

In terms of potential top-100 games, NC State is coming to Chicago (they were outside the top 100 last year), and we have the challenge game at Boise. UIC could surprise and end up being a good game, though not a mark-maker.

Then there's the Savannah MTE. We don't know the field yet, but it was weak last year.

With three games left to fill, one will probably be a buy game at a P5 school in the region. In recent years we've gone to Michigan St and Notre Dame. I'm also holding out hope that we will have a game against Northwestern as part of a Chicago double-header for the opening of DePaul's new arena, but that might be a pipe dream.

Along with Loyola....Valpo, Kent St and UNCW were the others that are coming to mind for that Savannah event.

Interesting... Now that Valpo is in the same conference could that cause problems with tournament seeding?

Also in regards to LU's scheduling i have to second ahunte. Definitely iffy, though i think UIC will end up a top 100 team, and hopefully NC State improves. In terms of the not so great matchups we are at UMKC and Milwaukee if i recall; both part of home and homes. Getting DePaul/Northwestern would be stellar. They just don't want to play us in the regular season; we scrimmaged Northwestern before last season, so the relationships there.

In terms of scheduling, we have three available (or at least non published) dates. I want to see 1, maybe 2 if we can't pull a decent mid major home and home, guarantee games. A low major cupcake at home to fill out the schedule wouldn't be bad either. Our fear is we continue our trend of 2 non-D1 games and the 3rd game is that cupcake game at home vs. an average MEAC team

Since we're talking schedules, UNI is freaking loaded again.

Home-
Xavier
UNLV
UT-Arlington (buy game)
Iowa Conference Opponent (DIII)
Battle 4 Atlantis Home Game
1 More Buy Game (One of the Dakotas, most likely)

Away-
North Carolina
1 Home and Home to start on road (Agreed but not signed, Top 75 team)

Neutral-
Battle 4 Atlantis (Arizona, Villanova, NC State, Purdue, Tenn, SMU, WKU)
Iowa State in Des Moines

1 more to get

Dan muller needs to shut up, get good, and then schedule. Make several tournaments and a sweet 16 and it becomes easier. Hell, they already beat north Carolina and still get teams scheduled. Stop complaining and do whatever it takes.

Won't matter if we can't win any of the big games again. Gotta be much better this year than last year.

Appears if MSU is going to be adding a 7-2 graduate transfer from NMSU.
