Go get em UNI, Jank is a very bad guy, anytime he loses, I'm happy...

Pretty good but why Omaha twice?

Nobody on Drakenation has the answer for that. My guess is that both teams were having troubles filling their schedules and they're only about 110 miles apart, so easy fix for the scheduling problems without any serious travel necessary.

That is one heck of a boom/bust first game. Win and get on the right side of Arizona/Purdue/Villanova. Lose and get on the wrong side with NCSU/UT/WKU. That can make or break the entire at-large resume.

Bradley released it's non-conference schedule yesterday. Nothing to write home about, a couple of decent mid majors, and one road game at an SEC appointment.

vs. IUPUI
vs. Delaware
Bahamas Tournament (A bunch of Mid-major teams)
vs. Missouri S&T* (Bahamas Tournament filler)
vs. Georgia Southern
vs. Eastern Illinois University
@ San Diego St
vs. Little Rock
@ Chicago St
@ SEMO
@ Ole Miss

Looks a lot like the MSU schedule[ not released yet] .We have perhaps a few more quality mid level games , but are in a crap tourney [Gulf Coast Showcase] and have no p-5 games at all. It's my understanding that a few of these tourneys [including the Gulf Coast Showcase which Bradley was in last year and we are this year] are MVC obligated tourneys . If so they did a crappy job and really tied the hands of member schools. I don't know for sure though.

Bradley's schedule is kind of disappointing but I'll reserve full judgment until I see the field for the Bahamas Showcase. Hopefully coach Wardle is right and most of those teams will be better than they were. This year Bradley should really show their growth and get some wins against these teams and show well in conference. That could set up a tougher slate for next year when the team has fully matured and is ready to really compete.

Good job on this schedule. This is just what Drake needs to improve their program. Hopefully it continues.

Even though the Bahamas tournament is just midmajors, if Bradley wins its first game it should present some decent opponents. If seedings hold up it will be UNK, Iona and Vermont.

Last season RPI
Bahamas Tournament
89 Vermont
107 Iona
117 Northern Kentucky
125 Coastal Carolina
144 Weber St
(220 Bradley)
230 Murray State
260 UTSA

The rest of the schedule which I am less thrilled about:

Home
122 Georgia Southern
201 IUPUI
241 Arkansas Little Rock
277 Delaware
282 EIU
DII Missouri S&T

Away
20 San Diego St
70 Ole Miss
312 SEMO
321 Chicago St
