Word is Auburn is looking for a game December 19. Perhaps a team like Illinois State will step up and take that game? I have to say big props to ISUr for scheduling well. Tulsa BYU Nevada Ole Miss and South Carolina is dang impressive. Some solid work turned in by Northern Iowa. And Valpo hasn't done too badly as well. Here's what we've got as well:

@SIU-Edwardsville
SE Louisiana ( Home gamepart of MTE)
Samford (Home game part of MTE)
Kent State (Savannah Invitational)
UNC-Wilmington (Savannah Invitational)
Utah State (MVC\MW Challenge)
@Purdue
@Ball State
@Northwestern
@UC-Riverside
@Santa Clara

Just read on the Indiana State board that they will open the season at Indiana. Wow, new coach in Bloomington and he starts by taking an in-state middie to the woodshed. Should help INSU's SOS, wonder how they'll respond...

The Sycamore schedule as of now is

Away
Indiana

Home
Air Force

Neutral
Auburn
Temple or Old Dominion
Clemson, Hofstra, Ohio, or Dayton

Other possible games could be vs. Ball State, IUPUI, IPFW, Eastern Illinois, a D-II team, more MAC teams? Nothing else has been confirmed

Well I actually think we (INST) have a chance of winning that game against Indiana. I heard we have a solid recruiting class coming in and that some of the knuckleheads on the team last year either graduated or got cut. Indiana on the other hand lost 4 players, has a new coach, and came off of a pretty bad year (not that last season for INST was better). Hopefully Brenton Scott will actually play like a senior rather than taking ill advised shots. We beat Butler last year, so who knows?

That's pretty solid; I'd take that most years for any Valley Team.

I worry about a new nucleus of players coming together in the non-con against this schedule. We will see, but they will be immediately tossed into the gauntlet right away. No cupcakes to get our feet wet once again. That said, it's a very solid schedule.

Very valid concern. Some opportunities for some good wins there, if the Redbirds can come together as a team to handle them.

They will play a 12th game in between boise st and quincy in the Puerto Rico tip off. Either, Appalachian st, Western michigan, Iowa state, or Tulsa (again)
