Especially since travel partners are only used in volleyball and wbb. It was a mistake not letting MuSu in this season. (Although I kind of wonder if moving their fb to the MVFC this season was an issue. I think MuSu is in the MVC/MVFC this time next year.)

I think 11, with 20 con games, is the perfect number. Hopefully the MVC and its members eventually see it that way too. There is not a good #12 option out there. Milwaukee would be okay, but I think 11 is the best route to go.

You can make 11 work in VB and WBB because they'd stay at 18 league games. VB can't afford to give up a weekend of tournaments for NCAA at large chances and WBB needs the two extra guarantee games as its a low major league in WBB. You'd have some odd weekends and few more weeknights but its doable.

11 sounds better and better all the time.

Murray and Duke are my 2 choices.

Iowa State could be terribad this year - possibly. I believe they were picked like 8th in the B12 preseason poll. That means they'll beat UNI by 18 because logic

So I went to the Oral Roberts - Tulsa basketball game last night (at Tulsa). I will admit that I was wrong about ORU, as someone that strongly vouched for them. There weren't 200 ORU fans at the game last night. If they can't travel across town, they definitely aren't going to travel to St Louis.

But yes 11 keeps looking better all the time. Not sure there is a worthy 12 at this point. If I had to choose a number 12 right now it would probably be Milwaukee. I'd like to eventually see the two XDSU schools get looked at too. As well as NDSU fans travel for football, I have to believe that if they had a good basketball team they would travel well for basketball too.
