From a strictly predictions standpoint based on (in order of importance)

A) Returning Players (and their impact as returners from last year, not avg 1 ppg types)
B) Incoming Recruits
C) Point Guard Play
D) Coaching Acumen

Based on just predictions on the above standards in tiers...

Missouri State
Loyola
....
....
SIU
UNI
ISUr
Valpo
....
....
Indy St
Bradley
Drake
Evansville

It would be VERY disappointing to see Bradley take a step back in year three of a complete rebuild!

Interesting article picking the Bears to win the Valley this year. Not much mention of coaching ability though? Maybe in part 2.

Talent wise, this should be a 25+ win team. They won't get to 20 again

With the incredible weakness of MSUs schedule, if he doesn't win 20 he should not only be fired, he should be banned from basketball (at any level) for life!
You are probably right though.

1. Missouri St.
2. Loyola
3. UNI
4. SIU
5. Valpo
6. Bradley
7. Illinois St.
8. Indiana St.
9. Drake
10. Evansville

In addition to the coaching questions for Missouri St. and Loyola, neither has the kind of home-court advantage you would expect of MVC favorites (Mo State fan base having chilled on Lusk and Loyola lacking much of a fan base in the first place), another quirk adding to the conference's up-for-grabs feel.

This is a little off-thread but I didn't want to start a new one just for it: Congrats to good guy Indiana State Coach Greg Lansing for picking up 6-4 Butler Transfer Cooper Neese of Clover Ind. a great scorer. Unfortunately neese will not be eligible till 2018-19. he averaged 27.2 ppg his Senior year and 29.5 ppg as a Juniot at Clover
