After losing their best player and moving to a tougher conference I think they'll struggle. They will battle Bradley for the 6/7 spot.

This is where it gets tough.

I went Bradley but you could talk me into Valpo or SIU here too. The Braves are still really young and its a group that hasn't really experienced success yet. I think Wardle will turn it but I think he's on a 4 year plan not the traditional 3 year plan.

I think this will be a tie between Bradley and Valpo. I think Bradley loses the tiebreaker and falls to 7th.

Next year, they finish top 4.

Yes, Valpo lost it's best player to the NBA and leaves a lot of questions. However, they will surprise the valley fans and finish top 4

Valpo's ceiling is 5th. They aren't better than UNI, Illinois State, Loyola or Missouri State. They're in the 5th-7th tier with SIU and Bradley.

A down Valley year is still better than the best year the Horizon can put together and I don't think this will be a down Valley year, that was last year.

Yes, it really does get tough from here on out. You've got 7 teams that for one reason or another don't really stand out that far from the rest. Plus what do any of us really know about those teams. All we really have is our half vast opinion. Throw all the names in a hat, and draw one out. I drew out Bradley for 7th, but think there is a possibility they could be better than that.

Time will tell. Valpo consistently beat good programs outside of the HL. Bama, BYU, Rhode Island and Murray St. If you want to throw Missouri St. in that group too, you may, I Don't remember the last time Valpo lost to them.
