I think this whole two added wins, for each MVC member against The Huskies, started when someone (ACECARD) used the acronym NIU instead of UNI, when referring to Northern Iowa.
Funny.
But, don't feel bad UNI fans,
The University of Evansville, is still being insulted by some in here as EU, after almost 25 years, in THE VALLEY.
So, I say, "well done, ACECARD"!
For using the misnomer and twisting this thread, to include NIU & The MAC.

....and I voted for Illinois State.
I think they'll truly miss MiKyle McIntosh more than Paris Lee.

GTFOH. That attitude is why the Aces will forever be bottom 4 in the all sports standings. Why the Aces will never be a consistent winner in any sport. It's small time, little brother, thinking.

Well we endured all the garbage between Baller and Aces82, looks like these goofballs are the new replacements. I have read this 3 times, and neither make a bit of sense.

If I did truly use NIU instead of UNI it was strictly a brain fart, and not intended to disrespect Northern Iowa in anyway. It really is hell to get old, and hit the wrong keys ever once in a while. I love the way UNI plays defense, and wish the Aces could do the same.

So sensitive over some simple harmless needling...not even a real insult. I save my needling for perennial Thursday night participant, Bradley.

I'm not making this up, but last year when Northern Iowa came down to Terre Haute to play football the referee accidentally referred to Northern Iowa as "Northern Illinois". Then this past weekend in Terre Haute a referee referred to North Dakota State as just "North Dakota". You'd think the refs would at least know who's playing. But that's typical bad Missouri Valley officiating for you.

First words out of the White Hat's mouth in Ames earlier this year--

"Northern Illinois, you are the visitor, please call it before I toss the coin"

Fun Fact-In both 2018 and 2020, Iowa plays UNI and Northern Illinois. I expect the media to not be able to handle the UNI/NIU debate.

I wonder who cast the deciding vote for ISUr to be in 5th place? Shame, shame. Are they really going to be that bad?
