Indiana State beat Illinois in their secret scrimmage 79-77

No secret, but Missouri State topped local DII Southwest Baptist last night by about 30 points. Alize Johnson sat out to rest his knee. The starters struggled for about a ten minute period defensively, but the offense was never an issue. Youngsters played for around the final 10 minutes. All in all a pretty good showing but need to shore up the D. Too many wide open looks. Dixon, Rousseau, Church, and Rhodes all look poised to have big seasons.

Loyola took number 19 Northwestern to the brink with a 1 point loss. Sounds like a great showing for LU.

Sycamores played their regular exhibition tonight vs Marian (IN) college, won by 20, 84-64. Seems like everyone played well.

Win not as impressive now as Illinois lost in public exhibition to eastern Illinois last night.

Bradley hosted a closed door scrimmage today against UIC and won 77-64.
