I think most MVC teams play an exhibition game this weekend. How did your team do?

Drake takes on Minnesota-Crookston (D2) this afternoon.

ISU won 84-64 against Marian. In a game that was never in doubt, ISU was very balanced with their scoring and continuously threw multiple line-ups on the court. Everybody played and we came out healthy. A lot of good things were taken away from the scrimmage as the Sycamores look WAY more athletic than in recent years.

SIU beats D-2 Rockhurst University 98-68--6'10"Kavion Pippen had 23 points/ 8 rbs/ 3 blocks. Starting PG 6-5 Marcus Bartley (broken bone in hand) and 6-8 PF Thik Bol (slight tear in meniscus-knee area) will be back by begining of december--Bol was walking albeit wit slight limp without crutches or other aid--a good sign!!

UNI beat North Carolina-Pembroke 72-66.

UNI, a lot like last year, blew a comfortable halftime lead and had to come from 6 back in the last 4 minutes to get the win.

This team appears to continue to have the same offensive struggles but has rebounded much better.

Freshman Tywhon Pickford led the comeback hitting 2 big 3s and getting 8 offensive rebounds. Spencer Haldeman let UNI with 20 points.

Wyatt Lohaus didn't play due to lingering toe and ankle issues. Bennett Koch was benched for the last 10 minutes for not hustling. Some real concerns for UNI.

Panthers open at North Carolina on Friday. Gulp...

Valpo has looked very good in it’s two exhibition games. It’s first outing against Robert Morris was a 117 to 69 victory on Thursday November 2. The Crusaders followed that up with a 77 to 42 victory over Chicago State.
