For the first time since 2002, the Braves are coming home with two neutral-site wins at an in-season tournament.

Ohio wins 96-94 in 4 OT's, sad. ISU gives up a NINE point lead in the 2nd OT with :45 seconds left and loses in the 4th OT, Wow, just wow

Loyola beats Samford 88-67. Ben Richardson did not play and will be out for 4-6 weeks with a broken hand, but highly touted freshman Christian Negron made his first appearance, and freshman Lucas Williamson had a great game with 11 points.

That ISUb-Ohio game was pretty wild, I was following on scoretracker. Good win by Bradley, ISUr up early 24-7 against Tulsa.

Valpo goes to 4-0 with a 33 point thumping of SE Louisiana University. 11 players scored. Tight first half (+10 at the half) but blew it open with superior depth in the 2nd half - rotated 10 deep throughout the game. Samford next.

Hurts me to say. But, nice win by Illinois State today. Really thumped Tulsa.

If Illinois State Bradley and Drake can all walk out of their tournaments 2-1 with 2P5 wins and the only losses being a one point loss to Vermont a close loss to Colorado and a loss to what appears to be a very good Boise State team I would consider that a job well done by them this week. Congratulations to them they have represented the MVC very well. Keep it up guys! Very impressed but not surprised by the Valley's performance so far. Hopefully my Crusaders can do our part and continue delivering wins. Very important stretch coming up in our schedule where we'll learn a lot about our team. Hope we can do our new conference proud. Go Crusaders! And go MVC!

Bulldogs hold on and win 90-88 in double OT. Led by 14 late in first half and led for 99% of the game, but Drexel scored the last 7 points of regulation.

With 5 seconds left in double OT, Drake led 90-88 and De'Tae McMurray at the line shooting 2. He missed both, but then stole the ball to preserve the victory.

McMurray scored 23 to lead 6 Bulldogs in double figures.

If you had told me that Drake would shoot less than 40%, including 6-22 from 3-point range and get outrebounded, I never would have believed they would win.

BU! 4 and 1 . No Van Bre or Bar today. Child’s is a real FR of the yr candidate. I’m excited to see how quick Carver fills up.
