When Gillen was at Xavier, the UE-Xavier rivalry was huge, and the biggest one in the MCC for much of the late 80's and early 90's. Gillen and X was public enemy #1, and I am sure he never saw less than 10K on any visit here.

Very few teams, regardless of name saw less than 10K during that time.

Pete Gillen was enemy #1 when Xavier came to Evansville. He had some great teams and most games were very competitive. As a color commentator, I found him to be less than stellar.
