All the pressure in the world tomorrow - lose to NCSU and you're quite likely facing Tennessee, and facing the prospect of missing out on the top 3 teams in the Atlantis field.

Position retracted. :D

very impressive half by UNI, keep it close and play UNI ball and win it at the end, just like last night

Not enough depth to hang with Nova down the stretch.

Managed to outrebound Nova but 26% from deep, 14 turnovers and no free throw attempts make it hard to stay close.

Koch with a double double (10 and 12)
Pickford with 9 and 10

I thought UNI acquitied itself really well. Koch and Pickford had very good games, at least while I was watching. Pickford is really going to be something.

As you say, the lack of depth was a problem. The Panthers looked gassed at the end of the game. I only saw the second half, but McCloud was really trying to do too much. I am sure fatigue contributed to some of his mistakes.

Anyway, UNI is going to be pretty tough this year. Congrats on having such a strong tourney performance!

Good day for the MVC. Loyola and Valpo are both victorious in Savannah. Valpo defeated Kent State 77-67 and Loyola blows out UNC-Wilmington 102-78. The two teams now switch opponents and are back in action tomorrow. Go MVC!

Valley teams rock it on Black Friday with UNI showing some crazy fight against #5 Villanova, while both LUC and Valpo earn good Ws.

BIG day for the Valley tomorrow as the MVC teams keep playing at a high level helping to move the Valley up the conference ratings...love it! 8-)

KEEP IT ROCKIN' MVC!!

Bradley has finally turned the corner. This is a good Georgia Southern team who handled Missouri State and Wake Forest. They averaged 83 points coming into this game. Bradley held them to 57. These past few games have shown that they should compete for a spot in the top half of the conference.

great day once again for the MVC, sadly the Sycamores were unable to help out today, we are just a bad, bad basketball team right now. The win at IU is so far in the rearview mirror at this point it seems like it was 5 years ago. The team has just done a 180 since that game. So pencil us in for Thursday already, LOL.

As our new grad transfer player said in his post game interview, we are a very weak and soft team at this point. Not sure how to toughen them up and get them to play at full intensity for 40 minutes? Lansing's teams just keep getting worse and worse since Odum left. We have talent, but it's just not going the way it should be. Who knows?
