It's the Valley vs. the Mountain week....love the challenge games, and it's good for both conferences.
Here goes on this weeks winners:

Tue-
Crusaders > Utah St. (Valpo kicks it off with the MWC and earns a quality W)
Bears > Colorado St. (MSU looking to go undefeated the rest of the non-con)
Boise St. > Ramblers (the Broncos are very good...hopefully LUC gives them a run for the money)

Wed-
Panthers > UNLV (this would definitely be a quality W for UNI)
New Mexico > Aces (could really see UE pulling this roadie out)
Nevada > Redbirds (might be a beatdown here)
Sycamores > Air Force (tough to pick ISU here the way they're playing)
Bulldogs > Omaha (DU is a very nice surprise so far...keep it going Bulldogs)
Salukis > SIU-E (even with the loss, the dawgs showed some life down at Murray St.)

Fri-
Braves > EIU (BU continues growing up)

Sat-
Redbirds > Tulsa (even though they've already beat Tulsa this season, it's an iffy pick they way ISU is playing)
Salukis > San Jose St. (two in a row for the SIU)
Ramblers > UIC (should be LUC taking care of biz against their Chicago rival)
Wyoming > Bulldogs (the Cowboys are good, so this will be a big challenge for DU)
Bears > South Dakota St. (really think this is a toss-up game, but MSU needs this one)

Sun-
SDSU > Braves (the Aztecs have a solid program and are defending home court)

Think the Valley vs. the Mountain challenge hinges on the ISU/Air Force game. Would be terrific to see the MVC pull it out 6-4 vs. the MWC, although a 5-5 split would also be decent. Should be an awesome week of hoops across the Valley...oooo yeah!

Valpo- Being Home is key here as they've done a lot of travel coming off of Savannah

Boise- Ramblers have been on the road since thanksgiving with the Savannah Invitational, had one day at home before flying to Boise this morning; I think it catches up to us.
