Kind of a bummer with the after-new year's start. I was hoping at least one of the MVC schools would get the benefit of not having to play against Williams and Neese for Indiana State who have to sit out until the second semester. Those two are going to make Indy State a completely different team. It'll be tough to throw two stars in mid-season. We'll see how they jell together. I wish it was Nov. I am ready for some real basketball!

Starting to get little pieces on Missouri State schedule. We play in KC in the CBE Classic which includes Texas Tech, Southern Cal., and Nebraska as the other 3 teams. We play @ Wright State, @ North Dakota St, and sounds like a buy game @ Texas. We have Western Kentucky at home, start a series with Arkansas State which probably starts at Home. Probably have ORU @ home.

So three P-5 games so far, and @ least two quality mids in WKU and Wright St. No bottom feeders yet, but ....
Need ASU and ORU to return to past levels when they were at least solid 150 type teams.

Originally there was word we were playing in some tourney in Colorado, but that did not happen. Just announced yesterday, Bradley will play in Cancun over Thanksgiving with SMU, Wright State, and Penn State. Bradley expected to play SMU in the first game. This is a nice little tournament for Bradley with some solid RPI building games.

Agree...Cancun is a nice tourney for the Braves who will have a chance to smack down SMU, then get a very good shot for a P5 win against the Nittany Lions. Like that BU is trying to beef up the non-con....good work, and it helps the entire Valley. 8-)

I believe that they become eligible as soon as the fall semester final grades are posted, that usually happens mid December. That is what happened with Conner Frankamp when he transferred into Wichita back in 2004. So no matter what, they will likely get at least 2-3 non-con games before the conference season started.
