Most of the computer models had the game as pretty much a 50-50 proposition....Drake won by 2....not sure that's hard to explain. I'm not going to lie; Drake didn't even play that well.

Yep no surprise. Parity will result in a close race for every position in the Valley this year from first to last. Unfortunately, that parity is good, but no great teams leading to no at larges in 2018

Aces lead Loyola 28 to 20 at the break. First few minutes were ugly for the Aces, but the whole half was pretty ugly for Loyola.

Was the defense for both teams that good, or was the offense that bad? Aces shooting 39%, Ramblers 36%. Probably a combination of the two.

Ramblers surge from down 8 to beat evansville 66-59. Marques Townes should be in the running for newcomer of the week as he absolutely took over in the second half. Scoring 17 of his 19 points.

Thik Bol expected to make a return tomorrow on New Year's Eve in Carbondale against the Drake Bulldogs. It will be interesting to see how Pippen and Bol play when on the floor together.

This is more of what I expected of UNI this year. They were a big surprise the first few months to me.

Offensively defecient, inconsistent and no game changers. Koch and Carlson are just not two guys you can rely on regularly to lead the way.

Bradley over UNI 72-53. This is the Bradley team we saw in the non-con and why we were collectively freaking out over the Drake loss.
