Turnovers were 16-17 were they not? Steals 9-9? Blocks 4-4? The only place that I felt that we truly got beat was on the boards.

With all of those open shots we had over and over we went...

Field Goal Percentage
Today 34.9
Season 44.2
Difference -9.3

Three Point Percentage
Today 21.4
Season 39.9
Difference -18.5

If your selling that we shot how we have all season then obviously you haven't been following BU at all and you weren't watching when all of the open shots bounced out.[/quote]

I thought we did a great job on Brown.

There's no doubt about that! The issue with Brown is that he is a very streaky player. In a game he can score 12 points in two minutes and then not do anything for the rest of the half. He was never able to get going because

#1 turnovers,it seemed that anytime he sped the game up he lost control of the ball.
#2 shots were not falling and that allowed your players to play very close to the rim. DB loves to drive and he just flat out could not drive because there was no shooting threat behind him.

The turnovers and the team's shooting being awful made things difficult. Then, we got down by 10 and he tried to save the day and by doing that made things worse. That was the most trouble he had scoring all season.

It has been discussed on Drakenation. I hope he sticks around at least 3-4 years.

Can't believe the Bears have a chance to go up 2 games on 80% of the Valley with a win tomorrow. Not a must win as road wins are hard to come by and 14 games are left but man, get this one tomorrow and I think a lot of people would jump back on the band wagon, including me.

Was gonna post this earlier but sat on it cause it felt hyperbolic: Medved might be the best hire in this conference since Marshall.

MVC Standings after 1/6

I know we have (me included) given it to the UNI guys about losing early games and being in jeopardy of playing Thursday, but even if they start 0-4, with a MSU win today, the Panthers are still only 2 games out of 3rd place.

That's the very optimistic look. You also have to remember that there would be 4 teams tied for 3rd. If your talking about UNI getting into the top three they would have to come from 0-4 and gain 2 games on all 4 teams to at least tie for 3rd. Not impossible but not probable.

MSU and ISUr involved in a high energy game. ISUr holds the advantage but MSU is closing the gap. ISU up by 5 with 13:30 to go. This should be a fun one to the finish!

Is he gonna pull a Keno or does it seem like he’ll hang around a few years?

Little Pitino is the situation to watch imo especially with the Reggie Lynch situation after they fired their FB coach last year for player sexual assault allegations. Niko’s alma mater is Minnesota and Drake came within a hair of beating them.

If no change there, coast likely clear.
